On May 28th, Green Packet Inc. (GPI) and WiFi Metro announced the first field trial marrying cellular and Wi-Fi networks which will take place in the San Francisco Bay Area over the next 3 months using GPB’s SONaccess IP mobility solution and the WiFi Metro network.
On May 30th, DiGi Telecommunications Berhad announced a partnership agreement with GPB to develop and deploy secure roaming solutions for wireless and broadband services in Malaysia.
On June 12th, GPB and Nagase California Corporation, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Nagase & Co., announced the signing of a letter of intent encompassing the marketing and sales of GPB’s SONaccess IP mobility solutions in Japan.
