INTRODUCTION

SONaccess Mobile Service Home Agent is a carrier-grade multi-service router located in the operator’s core network, providing Home Agent functionality based on the Mobile IP standard. Its main functionalities are to authenticate mobile users as they roam outside of the home network, and to keep track of their current locations so that all traffic destined for them while away from home could be redirected. It also has a built-in IPsec standard-based VPN gateway module, which when used with the SONmobile VPN client module, provides a mobile VPN solution for secure network access.
