SW1200 is a powerful hardware platform equipped with the following software modules and functionality:
Built-in RADIUS Server which is a user database server support authentication, authorization and accounting across networks. SW1200 also support external authentication server like RADIUS and Microsoft Active Directory.

Access Controller delivers bandwidth management, ensures corporate network are restricted to authorized users and support non-Mobile IP wireless hot spot access control.

Mobile IP Home Agent supports the implementation of mobile IP from the server side. It will perform user registration and perform packets forwarding to the roaming clients.

VPN Server support IPsec encryption to protect tunneled data. IPsec and Mobile IP can have the best marriage that supports mobility and security using a single tunnel.

Web Based Management supports system configuration, performance monitoring, and client software download server.

The SONmobile mobile Enterprise client software is installed on the laptop or smart phone. It manages both the secure connection to the corporate network and the automatic choice of network—transparently to the user. When the laptop is unplugged from the corporate LAN, the Mobile Enterprise Client automatically switches to WLAN and starts encrypting the traffic thus relieving the end user from performing cumbersome network configurations.
